STOMA offers a complete machine concept for the professional production of stamped sheets made of special steel using the etching process. Our specially developed systems - from pre-treatment to etching and post-processing - are precisely coordinated and can be integrated into your production as an efficient complete package.
The centrepiece is our steel etching machine, which uses a precise continuous spray etching process. An oscillating spray unit and a variably adjustable throughput speed ensure uniform and controlled etching of the cutting dies. The system was specially designed for steel cutting dies and delivers consistently high-quality results - ideal for applications in cutting die technology, security printing or the production of intricate structural parts.
The etching technology is complemented by suitable peripheral equipment such as a brushing machine, regeneration unit, bending machine, CNC engraving machine and pressure cylinder. The result is a turnkey system with which you can realize your punched sheet production with consistently high quality, efficiency and safety - all from a single source, all from STOMA.
Note: All the system types mentioned are available in different widths - from 650 mm to 850 mm - and can be combined to create tailor-made complete solutions for your production.
The horizontal stainless steel pass-through system roughens special sheets to improve the adhesion of the photo coating. Thanks to interchangeable brush rollers, cleaning, surface structuring or deburring can be carried out as required. Ideal for materials similar to punched sheets, such as printed circuit boards or molded etched parts.
The plotter is an efficient alternative to UV setters, laminators and developing machines. Thanks to active pixel placement compensation, it achieves high image sharpness, density and uniformity. The material is precisely fixed by a sophisticated vacuum zone system. This produces high-resolution print results in which even text as small as 2 dots can be read with pin-sharp clarity. The use of the plotter not only saves time and costs, but also significantly reduces the space required in production.
