Stoma ECOLINE etching machines
The STOMA ECOLINE etching machines for copper and/or brass are made of acid-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials (PVC, Teflon, titanium) that can withstand the high stresses caused by contact with iron(III) chloride (FeCl3). The machine casing is bolted.
The machine frame, in which the machine units such as the drive motor, circulation pump and electric drive are mounted, is painted with a two-component paint (textured paint) that is specially resistant to FeCl3.
The machines are not equipped with a pre-installed extraction system or fan. The use of a STOMA extraction hood is recommended for effective extraction of acid vapors.
The standard version of the machine is designed with a connection for direct water cooling. When purchasing a STOMA HVAC air chiller or a STOMA chiller, the machine connection is made for this system.
If an externally organized cooling system is used, there is an additional charge for the internal machine connection installation.
The maximum etching depth for brass is 0.80 mm.

The automatic lid system enables the lid to be opened and closed at the touch of a button via the machine's control panel, eliminating the need for manual opening. This is achieved by a hydraulic unit in combination with a hydraulic cylinder. Depending on the machine type, this function is already included in the machine price.
The acid station automatically fills the etching bath with acid, eliminating the need for manual and potentially dangerous handling. The user does not come into direct contact with concentrated acid. The tank, with a volume of approx. 70-80 liters, is mounted below the etching bath on the machine frame and has a safety overflow and a drain tap. Float switches monitor the fill level and signal whether the tank is full or empty. The tank is filled automatically via the etching machine using a drum pump supplied, which is activated via the pre-installed mains plug.
The user can enter the desired amount of acid via the display on the machine control panel, with a dosing range from 0.1 to 999 liters.
